Books, and lives, are meant to be shared…
Amelie Fox has escaped to the idyllic island of Kefalonia to spend a quiet winter alone. Sitting at the table of her favourite harbourside bakery, she stumbles upon an abandoned novel with a faded photograph tucked inside its pages.
As she seeks to return the precious photo to its owner, she finds herself meeting new friends Steffi and Evangeline, and the kind but complicated Loukas – who seems to be carrying secrets of his own.
As the tourists leave and the beautiful Greek winter sets in, Amelie discovers that finding the book was just the beginning. The real story was everyone it led her to…
About Eva Glyn
Eva Glyn’s novels are inspired by the places she loves to travel to and her fascination with local culture and history.
In 2019 a holiday changed her writing life when a tour guide shared his heartbreaking yet ultimately uplifting story of growing up in Mostar during the war in the 1990s. This became The Olive Grove and since then she has written a further six novels for Harper Collins imprint One More Chapter, including The Dubrovnik Book Club, two Second World War dual timelines set in Croatia, and two bookish titles set on Greek islands.
Although she considers herself Welsh, Eva lives in the South West of England and as well as travel enjoys walking, wine and indulging her passion for history.
